Can’t really see the light covers, but they don’t cut down on the beams much, drives fine in low beam. I am getting really fucking pissed about how bright new cars lights are, it’s kind of ridiculous.

I’m right there with you on the bright lights, there is absolutely no reason for low beams to be as bright as they are on newer vehicles and the terrible upgrades people feel they need. I’ve resorted to keeping a light tint pair of sunglasses in my car in case I need them at night.

Also, the reflection on the ground from the lenses makes an evil face!

Yeah the new luxury makers are so bright I get disoriented and try to look away but they just white you out. The Golden Gate Bridge was foggy and people were beaming my eyes over the barrier, as I try to not hit the fucking barrier or the cars one foot from my right. We get tourists too and they drive like shit on the bridge. Then some must have the brights on because they are even more bright, usually up my hill because they think they are alone.

In the Z your butt is about 8" from the ground. I can’t think of a car with a lower seating position. That being said I am constantly flashing newer cars with their HID’s on high. I don’t think people know the difference between low and high beams anymore.

Yeah it is low, mine is lower than stock with eibach lowering springs. I have the problem in my SUV too, they are crazy bright white light and it’s dangerous sometimes. It causes you to lose references around your vehicle.

Yeah the problem mostly I find is people who install HID or LED bulbs in no projector housings. Those are the ones that literally will burn your retinas out of place. It has been so bad I keep some yellow night driving glasses in my car for when I am feeling extra sensitive to it.

Well I think brand new cars are pretty bad, I live where there are tons of new German cars, Acura and Lexus too are damn bright. I think the new MDX burned my eyes out the other night, but for sure the new German cars are crazy bright. I would like to see a limit placed on them.

Hmmm, I haven’t noticed it that bad, but you are somewhat lower than I am. I also don’t end up driving too much at night

I don’t even mean in the Z, up in my CRX coming across the Golden Gate Bridge or up over the hill on the highway they shine over the center divide. I may have to get night driving glasses.

Hmmm, I don’t get to drive higher vehicles often so maybe I don’t notice how bad they are still up there. You should, I like mine
